Why is it so hard to lose weight? Is this one of the questions you keep asking your-self?
A huge number of people who are now over weight are finding it increasingly hard to lose weight. This can be due to a number of different issues going on in the body such as hormone imbalances, increased stress, blood sugar imbalances and digestive issues. During our one to one consultations, we will be able to identify where your imbalances lie and set out the specific programme for you to help shed those excess pounds.
We want to look at restoring your weight in a healthy way with long lasting results. Your body needs good levels of nutrients to be in good health. If your body is lacking certain nutrients this can create cravings, this is when you can go for the wrong foods, and thus more weight gain. Healthy eating is required for optimum weight loss but also needs to be combined with exercise. If you want to successfully and permanently lose weight you have to make a conscious decision to change your eating habits.
The weight loss plan I will be looking at is one to create physical and emotional wellness. What are the factors in your life and diet that are hindering your weight loss? Food is medicine so we won’t be giving up food, you should not be hungry. If you are eating the right foods in the right proportions this should satisfy your hunger. The meals and snack receipes that I will give you will be filling and tasty. We will look at avoiding sugary foods, refined foods, and look more at foods which will sustain us.
